Music plays an important part in the life of St Mark's. We have a choir, a music group and a team of bellringers.  With the restrictions due to the pandemic, their activities have been reduced.  However we hope and pray normal service will be resumed soon.   Currently we have a small group leading the singing in our Sunday morning service at 10.30.

Normally the choir leads the singing at Parish Communion (10.30 Sundays, except the first Sunday of the month) and at special occasions, e.g. Easter and Christmas.

Normally the Music Group plays at our All Age Worship on the First Sunday of most months.

The bell tower is separate from and to one side of the church building. St Mark's bellringing team are hoping to resume ringing before the 10.30 Sunday service.and on special occasions. Each of them is an active member of the church,  Ringing is challenging, fun, sociable and rewarding. .For more information contact Andrew Scott on 01959 571820  or email on

A technical description of the bells at St Marks is in Love's Guide to the Church Bells of Kent.
